Excellent, even better the second time around

We stopped here to complete our trip Chochaban Ruins. Following a push a narrow street lined with pineapple fields, we arrived at the secluded haven. We appreciated local cuisine under the gazebo and enjoyed this gorgeous freshwater river. Lunch was yummy, and the service was fantastic.

We had an excellent experience in the Bacalar lagoon hotel. The driveway off the highway has been an experience. You will find pineapple plantations across the street on the road into the hotel. We’d stopped a few times and spoke to a number of the farmers since it was harvest time in a few of the areas.

As we arrived at the hotel, first impressions were good. Roberto approached us and took good care of the particulars of the stay. We could tell right off this was, and no huge crowds would be current — a place to sit down from the water’s edge and revel in the views of the lake.

The food in the restaurant is quite tremendous and priced reasonably. The wait staff is attentive and active at care for all of your requirements. Whether you are at the restaurant or sitting at the sun loungers on the seas edge all of your needs are satisfied.

Also, do some shopping in various boutiques.

It’s the most incredible place to see. We flew into Chetumal the funds of this country from Mexico City. We took a taxi to Bacalar and remained in an Airbnb. A home by the lagoon. We chose to see different cenotes. We had dinner in two excellent restaurants, for example, la playa and Luciano.

Have a boat ride out to the cenotes and if it’s possible, perform the river drifting at the mangroves. Wearing a life vest just like a diaper, softly float across the twisting mangroves for a relaxing experience. Then go and pay yourselves from the powdered sand in an island at the center as you dash around and have fun.
